I was born and raised in London and Denver has been my home since 2022. At the age of 22, I experienced the death of my mother, which led me to seek therapy for the first time in my life. I realized that I had spent many years blocking away my feelings and they had landed in my body and dreams.
Through many years of training, I connected with my deep calling to offer my skillful presence to people who are experiencing feelings of being blocked, bereaved, pained, anxious, conflicted and powerless and to let you experience the possibility of greater ease, freedom and joy in your body and mind.
Education:
-BA, Modern Languages (German and French), University of Cambridge, UK
-Masters in Social Work (MSW) Frontline Academy Program University of Bedfordshire, UK
-Masters in Process-Oriented Facilitation, Process Work Institute - Portland, Oregon
My Approach
I believe that every human being is imbued with inherent dignity and that trauma blocks our ability to thrive as we truly are. Together we can face the impacts of traumatic wounding through body-based techniques to grow our ability to take care of our inner child and inner adult with greater acceptance, compassion and kindness.
Offerings
I bring a unique combination of training in trauma-informed social work, somatic therapy, dreamwork and group facilitation. I am guided by the deep wisdom of process-oriented psychology (known as Process Work) which has taught me how to follow what is happening in your body, dreams and conflicts allowing for creativity to emerge as we unfold how disturbances can become our greatest teachers.

A: Yes. Sessions are a mix of talking and, as you feel comfortable, guided practices for you to attune to your body; nothing is forced, and cultivating awareness of our body can take time. We may also physicalize emotions or parts of the self using props, which is both playful and therapeutic.
-
A: Building rapport and trust requires meeting regularly. I meet with most clients once every two weeks. During more challenging periods, it can be helpful to increase this cadence to weekly. I am flexible to working with you to find the cadence that feels best and affordable.
Kind words from my clients:
-
Daniel guided and catered each session with patience, openness and creativity. Our time working together allowed me to step outside of my comfort zone while allowing me to feel secure and truly heard. I highly recommend working with Daniel and giving somatic therapy a try.” -D.B.

“His experience with intergenerational trauma, process work therapy, and spiritual foundations drew me to him. His approach was transformative. With the processwork approach, he helped me use dreamwork, dancing, singing, bodywork, art, and drama to experientially explore the forces in my unconscious and conscious life. What was so wonderful was not so much what he did or said but how he could draw out of me different energies around my grief and secondary trauma and help me explore them and use them to heal. His compassion and insight and the tools he has at hand to help his clients are remarkable. I no longer need to see him very often, but keep checking in, and feel blessed to have this connection.” -M.S.

“The only other person I can imagine singing to their co-facilitator, maybe, is Arny. That was a most beautiful moment, among many skillful interventions today. Inviting us to feel into our hearts is one of my favorite means of self-knowledge. Holding space for silence and recognizing the meaning of what was said in that silence is also a high art. I could feel the huge shadow of certain people who are treating the conflict, in my view, like a game, hanging over us, but you didn’t allow them to intrude on our very deep and real process. Brilliant work, dear Daniel. You held us all so well!”
-J.C., Group facilitation participant
-
“I felt your intention and desire to give space to such a complex subject that so many avoid touching. It was healing for me.” -I.M., Group facilitation participant
